Related Keywords
Choosing the keywords, and getting the keyword research right, can make or break any make money online with affiliate program. In this post I will be sharing a free and very simple to implement technique for finding good keywords.
Finding good keywords can be a lot simpler that most people realize. It is easy enough to over complicate things, and good bogged down with terms like “broad search terms” and “global searches.” However, there is one technique that has been been covered that often which is simple and easy to implement. Related Keywords.
What are related keywords?
These are keywords that are similar and are related to the main keyword. There are two ways of finding them. You can use an online thesaurus to search for lateral keywords that are found from the main keyword.
Or you can go to Google and put the following symbol ~ called a tilde in front of your main keyword. Words that are highlighted are words that are related to your chosen keyword. For example type in the word “buy” and you will get back a lot of highlighted words like “shop.”
Alternative words may come up that you have not thought of before, or which you did not think were related, or that the Google keyword keyword tool did not provide.
You can also use a online thesaurus to find antonyms, which is another way of finding keywords that you may have not thought of.
